    I kindly said to forget about it and decided move on. Lesson learnt. While it wasnt a horrible job, it wasn't great. It certainly was not worth the money she charged. The customer service I experienced was what really made it an awful experience. I don't see any reason why I would return to Parlour, and after hearing that there have been a few other disatisfied customers I decided to share my experience to let others know that not all clients have been happy with their experience at parlour.

    Parlour’s service and salon is top notch! Super stylish atmosphere and I’ve always been treated with a fancy beverage when I’m there. The staff is super friendly including my new favourite pal Yuki. The shop dog.The whole experience at Parlour truly feels like a pampering, and I’ve never been anything but 100% happy with their services. I highly recommend it.

    The end product looked nothing like what I wanted. I felt rushed to get out as her next appointment was waiting. I barely had time to look at my hair and honestly I felt too scared to let her know I wasn't liking what I saw. I thought perhaps once I washed it a few times it would look better. When I went to pay I was shocked at the almost $300 price attached to a half head of foils and a haircut that was not cut short enough. No styling. No head massage. She defintely had the Vancouver price tag..though I don't feel the quality matched.

    I left feeling almost as if I was wrong to not like it. I tried to convince myself I was being too picky. I really dislike confrontation so I left without saying anything negative. I gave it an honest try, washed it and noticed how muddy and greenish it looked in my lighting. The front had a band where she tried to cover up a sloppy foil and was the highlights on top were much lighter than lower part. I asked for a natural sunkissed balayage and that is not what I got.

    Always nice going into Parlour to hang out with Yuki, have a refreshment and get a haircut just the way you like it.

    I took a few day to let it settle and wash it but I was unhappy. I sent Tyla a message to let her know and her response was that she was surprised because "everyone" commented on her page about how nice it was. This couldve because she uses filters and ring lighting to take the best possible the photos? I said i would at least like it to be cut shorter and she told me she didnt think she has time "on such short notice".

    The salon is very stylish, but other than that I had a negative experience in almost every other way. The service was rude and unprofessional. Both Tyla and her fellow stylist were chatting away as if I and the other client weren't there. They were discussing parties and getting drunk, talking about clients they didn't want to work with and other things I felt better suited for after work. It made me feel uncomfortable and as if I did not matter at all. I felt like there was no real effort made by either stylist to welcome me into this space and make the appointment a positive experience. I felt almost like my appointment and presence was an inconvenience.

    I explained it had been a while (6months) since my last hair appointment but I was looking for a change. Balayage blonde, tone some of the brassiness, cut as much off as needed. I don't get haircuts very often. I said i didnt want to be too ashy and I was okay with golden tones. I felt so nervous and uncomfortable and Tylas lack of interest was apparent. I felt she made very little effort to really find out what would be best for me. After a very brief and awkward consultation she began the service.
