  When I finally found a home I was interested in buying, he was honest with me about my chances of getting the home, because my highest offer was 21 thousand dollars under the asking price. I made the offer anyways, and Michal suggested I write a letter to the homeowner explaining a little bit about myself and what I liked most about their home. To our surprise, the seller accepted my offer. I am very happy with my decision to choose Michal as my realtor, and I would recommend his services to all buyers. Thank you, Michal!

  When I decided that I wanted to buy my first home I really didn’t have any idea where to start. I called our local Royal LePage and the receptionist transferred my call to a realtor, Michal Sluka, and I told him I had been looking at homes online and there were a few I wanted to see in person. He asked if I was a first time buyer and I told him I was. He was available to meet with me that same day. When I got there, he explained to me the home buying process, as well as the importance of mortgage pre-approval when purchasing a home. Considering I didn’t have any previous knowledge in home-buying, it was quite overwhelming listening to everything that had to be done both before and after a seller approves my offer. However, Michal was very friendly and patient with me, and he gave me some reading material to scan through before going to look at some homes.

  At first, I saw a lot of homes that were nowhere near what I was looking for, and even though we had to see so many, he continued to be patient and stressed the importance of not jumping into anything unless I was sure it was what I wanted. Michal is knowledgeable and good at what he does. He isn’t pushy, and he is very accommodating. Some realtors don’t work late into the evenings or on weekends, but Michal was available to look almost any time of the day or week, provided he wasn’t meeting other clients. He let me know when/if he would be leaving town, and he made sure another realtor was available to help me while he was away.
